If you see geese heading south on the coldest day of winter thus far, are those geese late to get going? Bad planners? Both?

Given climate change and that it is not yet even winter, I'm not sure that the issue a short coming of the geese, but that they are unaware of the climate disaster upon us. Not bad planning but hoodwinked by the humans who have messed up the climate.
