The man being pushed into the unmasked vehicle (with a rod behind his neck) has three sons who served (or serve) in the military as marines. You can watch the video here to see him being punched on the ground and decide for yourself if Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Director of Homeland Security, is correct when she says, "The agents took appropriate action and followed their training to use the minimum amount of force necessary to resolve the situation in a manner that prioritizes the safety of the public and our officers.”
Should you watch you might also, in assessing Miss McLaughlin, statement consider her use of the word “training.”
And since it turns out that this father was “arrested” while working a landscaping job at an Ihop, you might also pause over her use of the word “safety.”
From the Diary:
“Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.”
