Every day—or even once a week—the most senior person on campus goes to where ever is most public—a tree in the quad, a table in the commons—and reads a book for fifty minutes.
If leadership only models doing, you get burnt-out doers.
If leadership models being—being curious, being relaxed, being engaged in a text—you might get students and employees who feel license to be well in these ways too.
Small magic there. Slow things the F down and encourage humanization.
